NOWI is a strong brand of Karl Noss Lederwaren GmbH & Co KG, which began manufacturing suspenders, belts, sleeve and sock holders by hand in 1930 and was already on the market in 1946 with 12 employees in the production of satchels, briefcases, leather bags and leather clothing.

Rapid growth and development of new markets

As early as 1965, the economic power of the Asian region was recognized and the first business with Far Eastern colleagues in the industry began. Over the years, the company grew at such a rapid pace that it had to move into new premises in Oberbantenberg in 1987. In 2000, a new location was opened in Wiehl-Bomig on a site with 15,000 m², modern headquarters, an adjoining distribution warehouse and office trak, 2 showrooms and an outlet store. A few years later, Karl Noss Lederwahren GmbH & Co KG launches the leisure and sports brand Come2Gether and the specialist retail brand Cocoono.

2009 NOWI Far East Ltd. is founded in Hong Kong and just one year later the first office is opened in China, Jaxing. In 2012, the company becomes a BSCI member in order to promote better working conditions and compliance with social standards in the Far East too!
