McNeill's high-quality products make everyday school life fun - right from the start. The company was founded in 1963, back then as a craft business for the production of handbags and shopping bags. Since 1975, McNeil has specialized in the production of high-quality, child-friendly school bags and matching sports bags. All products are manufactured exclusively in two factories in Germany. A high level of comfort, technical standards and practical details play just as important a role at McNeil as the fashionable and child-friendly design. Every McNeil satchel is fitted with a reflective double stripe that completely encircles the school bag. This strip ensures that children can be seen clearly at dusk and in the dark, because safety is important, especially on the way to school.

A satchel with many faces

Colorful and with pretty motifs, McNeil school bags are fun for young pupils right from the start. They are made from hard-wearing nylon, have a sturdy, waterproof base and can be carried in the hand or on the back. McNeil produces a total of four ergonomically shaped school bag models with different features. However, all models are impressive due to their durability, low weight and original designs. The top flap is closed with a practical magnetic lock that even younger children can easily operate. There are further pockets on the outer sides that offer additional storage space. The width of the chest and lap belt can be adjusted so that they can be perfectly adapted to the child's size. Inside, the school bags impress with their tried-and-tested internal dividers, in which books, exercise books and pencil cases can be neatly stowed away.

Long tradition and lots of experience

McNeill can look back on a long tradition. The craft business, which at that time was still concentrating on the manufacture of handbags and shopping bags, was founded in 1963. The small business grew into a rapidly expanding company and so the school bag division was added in 1975, which has since become McNeill's flagship product.

McNeill responds to the needs of schoolchildren

The brand was named after the Yorkshire terrier of the founding Krause family, which jumped into the picture at one of the brand's first photo shoots and still adorns every McNeill satchel today. Apart from the name, nothing is left to chance with McNeill school rucksacks. The focus is on compliance with technical standards and the needs of schoolchildren. It goes without saying that the company pays particular attention to the ergonomic posture of the back. In addition to back-friendliness, McNeill satchels also place great importance on road safety.
