Since 1975, McNeil has specialized in the production of high-quality, child-friendly school bags and matching sports bags. All products are manufactured exclusively in two factories in Germany. The brand was named after the Yorkshire Terrier of the founding Krause family, which jumped into the picture at one of the brand's first photo shoots and still adorns every McNeill satchel today. Apart from the naming, nothing is left to chance with the McNeill school backpack. Compliance with technical standards and the needs of schoolchildren are the focus. The company naturally places particular emphasis on an ergonomic posture for the back. In addition to being back-friendly, McNeill school satchels also place great emphasis on road safety.
